How to register for parish membership
Persons considering parish membership are invited to register
by calling the parish office or
stopping by for information.
Saint Augustines parish life is introduced, which includes parish history, staff roles, sacramental information, volunteer ministry information, and a description of the ways the faith community chooses to live out the parish mission statement.
Registration forms and a Time and Talent Offering form are among items given to potential new members.
New parish members can be formally received by the faith community at a Welcoming Rite at pre-scheduled Sunday liturgies, generally held on the first Sunday of the month.
Parish hosts provide support and hospitality to new members during the liturgy and afterward at the Mens Club breakfast.
Active Parish Membership is about:
Worshipping regularly.
Witnessing and sharing Gods love with others.
A Catholic Christian lifestyle is about expression and action.
Offering skills and abilities to the parish community.
The faith community is a gathering place of time and talents given for the glory of God.
Contributing regularly by using offering envelopes.
Each household bears the responsibility to build up the Kingdom of God , by supporting the parish according to their ability.
