At the Last Supper, after he had washed their feet, Jesus put his cloak back on and reclined at table once more. He said to the disciples: What I just did was to give you an example: as I have done, so you must do. John 13:15
We are all called not only to have faith but to live our faith as well. We are called to minister to those around us. Our challenge as Christians is to make good use of our gifts. We do this by placing God first in our lives. When we do so we become more prayerful, more focused on loving and caring for our families and our neighbors in need, and less preoccupied with material things or ourselves.
Descriptions of major areas of volunteer ministry are offered to parishioners to enable parish members to match personal skills, interests and time availability. Active members choose at least one area in which to serve the parish and local community. Various liturgical opportunities are available to parishioners, as well as a variety of pastoral, social outreach and faith formation opportunities.
