MUSIC MINISTRIES
"Sing joyfully to the Lord, all you lands; break into song; sing praise. Sing praise to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and melodious song. With trumpets and the sound of the horn sing joyfully before the King, the Lord."
Ps 98: 4-8
There are many ways to worship God, and music is one of them. Church music is also the venue for many people to use their talents to honor the One who bestowed the talent upon them. Our music program is comprised of volunteers who love God and music and offer their song as a sacrifice of praise to Almighty God. Involvement in any ministry is a calling from the Lord. Members of the Music Ministry at Saint Augustines Parish are a group of talented people who have heard that call. Our Music Ministry provides instrumental music, singing, and cantoring for all masses as well as for funerals, and special events. Our Music Ministry members are truly dedicated and make liturgical music an uplifting listening and singing experience. As our patron Saint Augustine has said, Those who sing, pray twice.
