Youth Ministries

Fostering the faith of the Youth of Saint Augustine is approached from many directions. It is our hope that experiences in all aspects of parish life will help them to believe in Jesus and establish a solid personal relationship with Him and the Church. We encourage active involvement in the parish community through worship, service and educational opportunities, that will help youth accept themselves as positive and loving creations of God.

           
Central Minnesota T.E.C. Retreats "Together Encountering Christ".

TEC is a three-day retreat weekend based on the Paschal Mystery: the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Participants experience the message of the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ through participation in music, discussions, talks, prayer, Scripture, liturgy and celebrations. A TEC weekend works to build spiritual growth through participation in group activities. Although some time is given for individual prayer and reflection, the emphasis throughout the weekend is on group participation.

Castaway Retreat

Castaway is a weekend retreat filled with inspirational talks, hilarious skits, fun music, and a great dance! All this while experiencing a life-changing message of faith for you and your friends.

St. Cloud Diocesan Youth Rally

High School youth from across the diocese gather for an inspirational speaker, workshops, food, fun and liturgy.

Fall Challenge Retreat

Fall Challenge is a weekend retreat filled with interactive presentations, unique worship experiences, fun music, challenge course events, parish youth group time, canoeing, paddle boating, polar bear swim and more.

Youth Group Lock-In

Sixth through Eighth grade youth participate in a parish sponsored event in which they spend an evening meeting youth from other parishes as they participate in recreational activities, prayer and treats. Junior High Youth Rally Friends, Fun, Food & Faith for 7th & 8th grade youth. Everything you need for an unbelievable day of extreme excitement. Meet youth from throughout the St. Cloud Diocese, listen to national speakers, as well as participate in outdoor & indoor activities, and basketball & volleyball tournaments.
